the survey issue

your chance to let me know why you read grass roots (or don't), what you want to hear about, what's on your mind, favorite uses of peanut butter, etc

hi friends,

i’m home sick today - nothing crazy, just a bad cold picked up from travels to visit some friends and family last weekend. on top of that, a new promotion and a fiscal crunch has me working six days a week for the month of june! its just temporary - by july, i’ll be back to working my sweet sweet part-time lifestyle. but i’m a busy (sick) bee over here :)

so this week, instead of me talking, i want to hear from you!

grassroots has changed a lot since we started last fall!

just last november, this was a community of 100 or so people who i had some direct personal connection with.

now, we have more than 1,150 members, most of whom i’ve never met!

so i’d love to hear from y’all.

  • who are you?

  • what drew you to grass roots?

  • when in your day do you like to read the newsletter?

  • what content are you most interested in seeing?

i know many of y’all prefer to reply to the email directly instead of commenting or responding to surveys; that’s welcome too! i always read and reply to any response emails i get.

but for those who want a quicker option - and to be able to see the results - here are some little surveys that take just two clicks to fill out:

when do you read grass roots?

I’m super interested in this one, because the newsletter platform I use says that the largest proportion of people read the newsletter when its sent out at 5pm west coast time, or 8pm EST (or possibly in the night, for international readers). why is 5pm the magic number? i wanna know!

what makes you want to read grass roots?

all answers valid :)

oh and most importantly: what topics do you want to hear more about?

do you have a favorite issue? a least favorite one?

something you’ve been waiting for me to touch on?

please let me know!! comments, reply emails, social media dms all welcome.

you can comment by clicking “read online” in the top right hand corner. or, click the “leave a comment” button below, click on this week’s issue, and then scroll down.

as always, thank you so much for being here.

if you’re enjoying this newsletter, don’t forget to:

much love,

jasper
