on my recent huffpost article

book project breakthroughs, the costs of public attention, and a garden refuge

hi friends,

for months i’ve been teasing that i have an article coming out soon in a major publication, and now, after a few months of thumb-twiddling, it’s here.

some of you may have already seen this on social media, others of you joined us from that article. (hi, newcomers!).

if you haven’t seen it yet, you can read the feature here.

honestly, all this attention has me exhausted! i have so many emails in my inbox to respond to, ranging from interested literary agents all the way to people upset by my writing.

i’ve spent most of the weekend working on my garden, planting native plants before the dry heat sweeps in here. these little plants bring me so much joy, and i’m taking ‘staying grounded’ literally, with dirt caked in my nails.

this all has given me a lot to reflect on and process, so i’m going to keep today’s issue short. i hope you enjoy the article!

i’m glad you’re here.

much love,

jasper
